These are the terms and conditions created by CustomRubberStamp for use in conjunction with placing an on-line order via the website of CustomRubberStamp.  We have tried to write these by taking into account the law in the UK but if it is found that one of our T & C’s conflicts with the law then we shall abide by that law. We do not agree to be bound by any other terms and conditions attempted to be enforced by the purchasing entity.

General Service

All orders placed are binding and once work is initiated by CustomRubberStamp the full purchase price becomes payable.  Wherever possible items will be produced and posted from within theUnited   Kingdom, but we reserve the right to have goods produced and shipped from wherever we deem it necessary in order to satisfy the requirements of the purchaser’s order.

An order placed on-line is termed “an invitation to treat” under the terms of the Sale of Goods Act, this means that you are offering to purchase said goods or services from us at the price advertised on our web-site.  In the vast majority of cases, this offer will be accepted by us and your order will be honoured, however, we reserve the right to refuse to supply an order which we consider to be likely to be used in an immoral, illegal or otherwise offensive manner.  If, for any reason whatsoever, we are unable to satisfy the order, we shall not be held responsible for any loss or damage accrued as a result of our failure to supply.  If we do not accept an order for whatever reason, we shall refund any monies paid to us on placement of said order, less any appropriate and justifiable expenses.

If there is likely to be an unexpected delay in the provision of your order we shall take steps to acquaint you with the circumstances and discuss solutions or alternatives.  In the event of an item ordered is not available, we reserve the right to supply an alternative which matches that item in respect of significant specifications.  For example if a Colop Printer is not available, we would supply a Trodat Printy or Redi stamp.

Trade Marks

Trade marks and names are of their respective holders, if you present us with a design we only reproduce any such image on the assumption that you have taken steps to obtain the rights to use.  We have a particularly responsible attitude to loyalty card stamps and if, any orders are received for these, the details of the person placing the order will be passed on to the Company concerned.

Customer Service

Our business is founded on excellent customer service, we make every effort to have happy customers because that is the best way to ensure that our business prospers.  We always strive to supply what the customer wants (sometimes not the same as what they may think they want).  We welcome equally - favourable comments and, surprisingly complaints,.  These latter give us the opportunity to consider upgrades to our business model and are taken very seriously. If you wish to make a complaint, please e-mail or speak to us on the ‘phone and we will respond as quickly as we can.  If you have not heard anything within within a few days, don’t leave it - contact us again because the chances are that we have not received your email for some reason.


The prices shown on the Custom RubberStamp website are exclusive of VAT, but this is added in the shopping cart. If you are placing an order from the European Union and are VAT registered in your country or are from outside of the EU then please be aware that if you place your order on-line you will be charged UK VAT.  If you feel that you should not pay this then you must contact us prior to placing any order. 


Payments can be made by card via the PayPal organisation, by BACS, cheque or cash on collection.  Unless a purchaser account has been arranged, goods will not normally be released until funds have cleared and, whatever the circumstances, remain the property of CustomRubberStamp until full payment has been received. 


We use Royal Mail First Class post for most deliveries within theUKand ROI Special Delivery is available at extra cost.  We endeavour to despatch within 2 working days of receipt of order (in the majority of cases this is actually within 24 hours).  Please double check that you have entered the full and correct delivery postal address including postcode and your e-mail address during the ordering process.

Erroneous/misplaced orders

We have many system checks in place to ensure that the correct items/quantities are despatched to you but mistakes can occur in even the best regulated operations.  We ask that you carefully check your order on receipt to ensure that everything is correct and that you have received the quantities ordered.  Mistakes will be rectified but we consider 7 days from receipt to be an adequate time to notify us of any faults/discrepancies. 


Most of the products we produce are customised according to customer specification and, as such are of little or no use at all to anyone else. For this reason we do not accept bespoke product returns. Unfortunately we cannot accept returns of custom made products unless there is an error in the manufacture of the item which is of our mistake, or the item sent has a mechanical defect.  If you have made an error in placing the order we will endeavour to put the matter right in the most economical method possible but reserve the right to charge for any necessary corrective action.

If we have supplied a you with a design proof prior to manufacture then we can not accept any responsibility if any error is subsequently discovered on receipt, whether this be our mistake or yours.  


We undertake to take reasonable steps to protect your personal information but, in these days of expert cyber-crime it is almost impossible to guarantee.  At your request we shall delete any information which we hold but you must be aware that there are occasions when certain information must be passed to our suppliers in the furtherance of your order.  We shall not under any circumstances pass your details to any 3rd party organisations for the purposes of email blanketing but reserve the right to send you emails from time to time acquainting you with any special offers which may be currently available.

These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
